Job Summary

As a busser at Holiday Grill, you will play a key role in maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient dining environment. You’ll work closely with servers and hosts to ensure tables are clean and ready for the next guests, assist with carry-out orders, and provide a welcoming experience for all.


Responsibilities

  1. Table Maintenance:

    • Quickly and efficiently clear, clean, and reset tables after guests leave.
    • Ensure the dining area is spotless and well-organized at all times.
    • Assist servers with delivering additional items to tables as needed.
  2. Carry-Out Assistance:

    • Assist in packaging carry-out orders to ensure accuracy and presentation.
    • Keep the carry-out station organized and stocked with necessary supplies.
    • Help manage carry-out traffic by coordinating with servers and kitchen staff.
  3. Host Support:

    • Assist with seating guests during busy periods, ensuring a smooth flow.
    • Help maintain the cleanliness and organization of the host station.
    • Be a welcoming presence for guests entering and leaving the restaurant.
  4. Cleanliness and Organization:

    • Maintain cleanliness throughout the dining room, including floors, chairs, and high-traffic areas.
    • Keep server stations, busser carts, and dish drop-off areas tidy and well-stocked.
    • Handle trash removal and other basic cleaning tasks as needed.
  5. Team Collaboration:

    • Work closely with servers, hosts, and kitchen staff to ensure efficient service.
    • Be proactive in identifying areas where you can help teammates during busy shifts.
  6. Compliance:

    • Follow all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines.
    • Adhere to company policies and procedures.

Qualifications

  • No prior experience required, though previous restaurant experience is a plus.
  • Strong work ethic and a sense of urgency.
  • Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment.
  • Positive attitude and a team-player mindset.
  • Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and perform repetitive tasks.
