Position Summary

The Front-of-House (FOH) Manager is responsible for leading daily dining room and bar operations, ensuring excellent guest service, smooth staff coordination, and efficient restaurant performance. This role oversees all customer-facing activities, supports team development, and maintains a welcoming atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities

Guest Experience

  •       Deliver exceptional hospitality and ensure every guest has a positive dining experience
  •       Resolve guest concerns promptly and professionally
  •       Maintain a clean, comfortable, and organized front-of-house environment

Staff Leadership & Supervision

  •       Recruit, train, schedule, and supervise FOH staff (servers, bartenders, hosts, bussers)
  •       Lead pre-shift meetings and communicate daily specials, service goals, and updates
  •       Foster teamwork, accountability, and a customer-first culture

Daily Operations

  •       Oversee floor operations during service to ensure efficiency and quality
  •       Coordinate with kitchen management to maintain smooth food and beverage flow
  •       Monitor table turnover, reservations, and waitlist management

Financial & Administrative Duties

  •       Manage labor costs through effective scheduling
  •       Handle cash management, POS reporting, and daily shift reconciliation
  •       Support inventory oversight for FOH supplies and bar needs

Compliance & Standards

  •       Ensure adherence to health, safety, and alcohol service regulations
  •       Maintain company policies, service standards, and brand consistency
  •       Enforce responsible service practices and guest safety

Qualifications

  •       5+ years experience in restaurant management
  •       Strong leadership and communication skills
  •       Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
  •       Knowledge of POS systems, scheduling tools, and hospitality best practices
  •       Flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays
