At TownePlace Suites by Marriott Detroit Livonia, we pride ourselves on providing a warm, reliable, and comfortable "home away from home" for our extended-stay guests. We are looking for a detail-oriented, energetic, and dependable Housekeeper to join our dedicated team. In this role, you will ensure our guest suites and public areas meet Marriott's high standards of cleanliness, presentation, and guest satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Suite Cleaning & Turnover: Thoroughly clean, sanitize, and service guest suites according to Marriott brand standards, including dusting, vacuuming, changing linens, making beds, and restocking amenities.

• Extended-Stay Attention to Detail: Provide meticulous cleaning for both daily stayover rooms and thorough full-service departures, ensuring kitchens, appliances, and living areas are spotless.

• Safety & Compliance: Follow all established safety, chemical handling, and sanitation guidelines to ensure a secure environment for both guests and fellow team members.

• Lost and Found Protocol: Properly report and log any items left behind by guests in accordance with hotel policy.

• Guest Relations: Greet guests warmly in hallways and public areas with a friendly, helpful attitude, offering assistance or directing them to front desk staff whenever needed.

• Team Collaboration: Work closely with the housekeeping supervisor, front desk, and maintenance teams to report any room maintenance issues or ensure special guest requests are fulfilled promptly.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Experience: Previous hotel housekeeping or professional cleaning experience is preferred, but we are willing to train the right enthusiastic candidate!

• Work Ethic: Strong attention to detail, reliability, and a pride in maintaining high standards of cleanliness.

• Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, bend, push cleaning carts, kneel, and lift/carry up to 25–30 pounds throughout a scheduled shift.

• Availability: Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays, as hotel operations require consistent coverage.
